Nikkei Nexus Programs
Our programs are designed to build upon existing partner programs as well as sponsor events and activities where gaps exist in the community. We have groups forming in three initial areas and are seeking help form people who want to get active and help make the vision a reality.
Our community needs helping hands so our goal is to create small, action oriented teams focused on specific event or time-bound tasks that become easily manageable and contained within all of our busy lives.
Connecting Community
What: Networking events, roundtable discussions, webcasts, panel discussion to extend community connections.
Who: We are looking for people who can help design, organize and deliver community programs in cities across America.
Elevating Stories
What: Educational and informational content focused on Nikkei successes, leadership profiles and untold stories.
Who: We are looking to connect journalists, producers, documentary directors, artists and authors to collaborate in getting our stories produced and heard.
"One arrow is easily broken, but not ten in a bundle" - strength is formed through unity.
"A quiet river runs deep." - stories with deep meaning can be shared without shouting.
Mentoring
What: Enable people to reach their full potential through sharing your experiences and lessons learned.
Who: We are looking to identify both mentors and up-and-coming leaders who are seeking advice and support to reach their full potential.
"Better than a thousand days of diligent study is one day with a great teacher." - the value of wisdom shared.
